Rubino Auto Detailing Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

Description of Services: Rubino Auto Detailing offers auto detailing services, including interior and exterior detailing, paint correction, ceramic coatings, and related services.

Service Agreement: When you book a service, you agree to the specific terms associated with that service, including pricing, the scope of work, and any additional terms provided at the time of booking.

2. Appointment Policy

Booking and Confirmation: Appointments can be scheduled through our website, by phone, or in person. All appointments are subject to availability. Upon booking, a confirmation will be sent to you via email or text message. Please review it to ensure accuracy.

Cancellation and Rescheduling: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for more details.

Deposits: Certain services may require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This deposit will be applied toward the final bill.

3. Pricing and Payment

Pricing: Prices for services are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice. Prices confirmed at the time of booking will be honored unless otherwise specified. *customer will be notified of any additional costs/recommendations immediately*

Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made. We accept cash, check and all major credit card platforms.

Sales Tax: All services are subject to applicable Rhode Island sales tax, which will be added to the total service price.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Vehicle Condition: You are responsible for disclosing any pre-existing damage or special conditions related to your vehicle. We are not liable for damage resulting from unreported pre-existing conditions.

Personal Items: Please remove all personal belongings from your vehicle before service. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items left in the vehicle.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

Quality of Service: We strive to provide high-quality service. If you are dissatisfied, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion, and we will address your concerns.

Exclusions: The satisfaction guarantee does not cover issues arising from poor vehicle condition, rust, or aftermarket modifications beyond our control.

6. Vehicle Damage and Liability

6.1 – Limitation of Liability

Rubino Auto Detailing (the “Company”) commits to providing exceptional service with utmost care during the auto detailing process. Despite our diligence, vehicle owners acknowledge that auto detailing involves inherent risks. The Company shall not be held liable for pre-existing damages to the vehicle that are discovered during the detailing process. Our liability for damages directly caused by our actions is limited to the cost of services rendered.

6.2 – Vehicle Inspection

Prior to any service, the Company requires a mutual inspection of the vehicle with the owner to document pre-existing conditions. Both parties will agree on the vehicle’s condition through a signed inspection form, which serves to protect both the vehicle owner and the Company against future claims for pre-existing damages.

6.3 – Reporting Damage

In the event of suspected damage caused by our services, vehicle owners must report the issue to the Company within 24 hours of service completion. The Company will investigate the claim and, if such damage is deemed to have been caused by our services, will undertake efforts to repair the damage or compensate accordingly.

6.4 – Damage Repair

The Company reserves the right to select a repair service provider or to compensate the vehicle owner for the cost of repairs, at the Company’s discretion. Compensation for repairs will not exceed the total cost of the detailing service provided.

6.5 – Limitations on Claims

Claims for damages must be accompanied by the original service receipt and documented proof of damage (e.g., photographs, inspection reports). The Company will not entertain claims filed later than 7 days after the service date.

6.6 – Assumption of Risk

By agreeing to receive auto detailing services from the Company, vehicle owners expressly assume the risks associated with such services. Vehicle owners agree to not hold the Company liable for any incidental damages that may arise during the detailing process, unless it is determined that the damages were a direct result of negligence or failure to adhere to standard operating procedures by the Company.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Data Collection: We collect personal information such as your name, contact details, and vehicle information to provide and improve our Services.

Data Usage: Your personal information is used solely for the purpose of delivering our Services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

Privacy Compliance: Our privacy practices comply with the Rhode Island Identity Theft Protection Act, and we take appropriate measures to protect your data.

8. Compliance with Rhode Island Law

Consumer Protection: This TOS is intended to comply with all relevant Rhode Island consumer protection laws, including but not limited to the Rhode Island Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

Employment Laws: Rubino Auto Detailing complies with all applicable Rhode Island labor and employment laws, including minimum wage requirements and workers’ compensation insurance.

9. Governing Law and Dispute

Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, to be held in Providence County, Rhode Island.

Small Claims: Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring a claim in small claims court in Providence County if the claim qualifies.

10. Governing Law and Dispute

Updates: Rubino Auto Detailing reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or otherwise notifying you. Your continued use of our Services indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
